Oh What a Night!

Steven and I are still coming down from the adrenaline rush that was our weekend! I can't believe we are married. We are so blessed with the wonderful support of our family and friends helping us to plan and supporting us during our wedding. We had such an amazing day. I know I could go on and on but in a nutshell we can say in our eyes our wedding was perfect, we will look back on June 21, 2008 and remember only wonderful and beautiful things. Some highlights for us included a beautiful venue and the awesome photo ops it provided for, great weather with a perfect breeze to cool everyone off, lots of family and friends to support us in the beginning of our lives as a married couple, great food, excellent beer and wine, delicious cakes and some really funny memories. I know we will never forget the moment when we saw each other for the first time on the steps of the Grand Lodge, the feeling we felt when we said our vows, the refreshing deep breaths we took as we walked down the aisle after becoming officially married, our first dance, dancing with our parents, listening to the humorous and touching toasts, dancing like rock stars on the dance floor, enjoying the awesome slide show prepared by my new brother in law, going out to the bar after the wedding with our great friends, walking into our hotel room for the night to find all of our furniture upside down on the bed, or walking out to put our stuff in the car and finding it covered with toilet paper, rubber gloves and zipties. I really could go on and on. These memories will last us a life time and we really feel like the luckiest people in the world.
Next comes the honeymoon, we will be leaving for Jamaica on Tuesday and are really looking forward to relaxing in the sunshine, seeing a new place and just hanging out together. We will have lots of pictures that we will be posting soon!
