The big ultrasound!
Yesterday afternoon we had our big "halfway there" ultrasound. Our appointment was at 4:30 and we were both anticipating it for days. We were really excited to make sure our baby is healthy and to see if we could find out it's gender. Well, we found out and we are having a girl!!! Get ready to welcome Sophia Lynn into the world in March. We were so excited and she cooperated for the whole ultrasound. The technician would want her to turn and she would, it was funny, she said she had not had that cooperative of a baby in a long time. We hope that continues, she hears about cooperation all day long when I am at work so hopefully she'll come out being laid back and ready to cooperate with others:). They took measuresments of every organ, bone, and major vessel which we found very interesting and each thing seemed to be right on track and very healthy. She weighs about 12 oz. as of yesterday. We are so excited to now have a name and a pronoun to put to the baby, we no longer have to call her "it" all the time. Well, we will have to post a new belly picture soon, I am definately growing but I came home from work today, and had pajama's on before 5 so a picture will have to wait for another day.
