All in all 2010 has been a great year for our family. Steven graduated from college and got a job he really likes, is safer, and has a normal schedule. Emily survived her worst year teaching and started with a new and easier (so far) group of kids in September. Sophia stayed healthy and shows us more of her sweet and hilarious personality each day, she has grown so much.
Steven and I are not too big on New Year's celebrations. We are homebodies to the core and renting movies, making a good dinner, and hanging out together is the definition of a perfect New Year's for us, and since Sophia has had a nasty cold all week that is exactly what we will be doing tonight. We are also not big on resolutions, but if I was to make one resolution for 2011 it would be to just remember to be present in every moment. Sometimes the busyness of everyday life and juggling the needs of 30 eight years old's all day and an almost two year old all of the time with family, friends, and life in general can just take over and I want to remember to be present in each moment and enjoy all of the ups and downs that life brings. Alright, enough of that cheese!!

I can not beleive how fast our little sweetie pie has grown up!
Sophia has definitely made my life (and I'm sure Grandpa Jerry would agree with me) so much more special since the day our little Peanut was born! Thank you Steven and Emily for sharing your precious daughter with all of us. Love all of you so much!!
