The Last Few Weeks

We've made lots of time for sister cuddles and one evening Ava fell asleep in Sophia's arms.

Sophia took some hilarious selfies on my phone.
This little one turned six months old. (Six month stats post to come soon).

We went to the Coast and spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa and cousin Wyatt.
I started back to work for my tenth year of teaching and Sophia started at her new school.

Standing by her backpack hook!

We went to the library and put on a puppet show.
This girl won a prize from the Summer Reading Program at the library- so exciting!  She also got a bag, a zoo pass, a Blazer's ticket and a new book of her choice.
Sophia started Pre-K!!! She loves it and has already learned a lot after three days of classes.
From the side showing off her backpack.
This little buggy caught her first bad cold and she has had a rough time all week. Super congested, scratchy little voice and a high fever. Still smiling though- that's our girl!
Last night, not feeling too great, cuddling with Mommy. She has been awake most of the night. We're on day 4 and go back to the doctor tomorrow (Friday) and we are hoping her fever goes down by then since it really should only last 3 to 5 days with an upper respiratory infection.

It has been a busy few weeks getting back in the grind of both of us working- now with two kids.  Steven and I are tired. We are ready and in need of a few calm (healthy) weeks.  Here's hoping!!!
