Update to Yesterday's Post

Well, after another sleepless night filled with coughing and tears (mostly Ava's), we took Ava to urgent care. She was diagnosed with bronchiolitis and an upper respiratory infection. She is now on Albuterol nebulizer treatments with lots of  suctioning to help clear out her sinuses. We have to go back to the doctor to check her lungs on Tuesday. They are hoping the Albuterol treatments help a lot and that it doesn't turn into pneumonia, as are we as well.

This girl, she's such a trooper. She is not a fan of the nebulizer, but she survived as long as we kept singing to her. The medicine got her all hyped up, but her breathing does sound a little bit clearer. She slept maybe a few hours over the course of the night and then took two twenty minute naps so far today, she needs sleep but when we try and lay her down she gets hysterical. At least she is all cuddly while watching the Superbowl.
