- She is growing up so fast, I can't believe in less than a month she will be in kindergarten!
- She picked out a sparkly pink Minnie Mouse backpack with a pink bow and a sparkly Doc McStuffins lunch box and water bottle. She is tickled to be bringing her lunch to school this year.
- She loves being a big sister and is very patient with Ava. They have played more and more this summer which is fun to watch. The other morning Ava slept in quite a bit later than Sophia and she kept asking me if she could go wake her up- "Mommy, I miss my baby". Very sweet!
- I have enjoyed my summer home with her. We have lots of time with just her and I since Ava naps and Sophia doesn't. Some of her favorite things we do together include building Legos, playing Barbies, playing babies, pretending that she is the mom and I am the baby, having reading parties (we lay in my bed and read together- I love to have reading parties on the days I am most tired:) ), and playing America's Got Talent- we've gotten into the show with Steven so when we play one of us does an act and one of is the judge, we always have a pretend buzzer- it's lots of fun. When Ava is up she loves to chase Ava around and hide from her. She loves going for walks, going to the library, going to the park, taking swim lessons, and riding her bike.
-Her favorite show is Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Her favorite movie is Finding Nemo, Frozen, and Cinderella.
- We recently discovered the Disney Princess station on iTunes Radio- she can listen and dance to it for hours at a time.
- Her favorite foods are soy hot dogs, Mac n cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, waffles, cereal, blueberries, wheat thins, and milk. She is also very interested in chewing gum- although we try not to buy it too often.
- She still needs about 12 to 13 hours of sleep each night and often has a rest time where she has to be calm and play quietly, but she rarely naps.
- She has a great sense of humor and cracks us up with her sarcasm and silly thoughts quite often.
- She took swim lessons at the pool down the street again and did a great job. She would swim out to her teacher and had much less fear than last summer. We are thinking about having her continue some swim lessons this Fall/Winter to keep up on the skills she's learned this summer.
- She is so much fun and she makes everyday better just by being in our lives. We love you Miss. Sophia!
