A few weeks into school Sophia got to enjoy a day of Teddy Bear picnic fun at school. This was her with her bear and her mask after school.
This child is quite enthusiastic about her spaghetti and food in general. I plan our messier dinners for bath nights, this bath required a pre-rinse and the cleaning of the tub before the real bath began.
We went to a children's art studio in Keizer one Saturday, here is Ava creating a masterpiece. Before we went there we took Ava for her most recent blood work and my amazing girl did not even cry and it took them five minutes with the needle in her arm to get everything they needed- we were so proud of her!
Park time in the nice Fall weather.
My girl lost her very first tooth! So exciting!
Here she is with the tooth fairy pillow Noni made her. The tooth fairy brought her a Hello Kitty Diary and two dollars. She also wrote Sophia the nicest note, which is below.;)
In Sophia's class they have a class friend named Gulliver that travels home with kids each weekend (get it, Gulliver's Travel's) and they get to take Gulliver on adventures and then write and print out pictures about their weekend with Gulliver to share with the class. It is the MOST exciting thing when you get to bring Gulliver home and Sophia got to a few weeks ago. Gulliver accompanied us to get flu shots, have a picnic, run errands, and snuggle at home. He was quite an easy houseguest:)
Gulliver comes with his own collar, vest, backpack, book of all his travels, and his very own skateboard which he had to try out at the park.
We let Ava try her first Oreo, her Daddy's favorite treat of all time, she looked like she had a beard when she was done.
This was a picture Noni sent me when Ava stayed at their house for a few days when her daycare was closed- she is the queen of expressions and this is one of my favorites.Well, there's the highlight reel from the last few months. Like always this time of year is super busy and this year even more so with me changing the grade I teach and taking on more responsiblities on the leadership side at work. Luckilly for this blog I have been spending a lot of time sitting on the floor of Ava's room as she falls asleep (more on that soon) which has given me lots of one on one time with my phone, thus getting caught up on some blogs. :)
