Last week we decided to move Sophie into her crib. She was sleeping in her pack n play in our room, but she is a very loud sleeper and no one else was sleeping when she slept. We began by moving her into her crib for her naps and then one night took the plunge and put her in her crib for bedtime too. I think this transition was much more difficult on me then on her because the first night in her crib we all slept better than we had in weeks. She had no reaction to the change at all. But considering her room is just about five more feet from where she was sleeping in our room it wasn't too big of a move. On average she sleeps from about 9 till 2 or 3 then she goes back down and sleeps till 5 or 6 then goes back to sleep till 8 or 9. I really cannot complain about her sleeping because comparitively it could be so much worse. Steven and I both really love to sleep and are both people who need sleep to function well, but we have worked out a feeding schedule that allows us both to get chunks of sleep so we are doing alright, plus those nighttime feedings really keep us up to date on our DVR shows:).
Here are a few pictures of Sophia sleeping in her crib. She looks so small all swaddled up in her big crib.
Please note: All of these pictures were taken within thirty seconds of each other and she is asleep in each one, she is an active sleeper. :)
Always prepared with her fist to suck just in case she needs it.
Relaxed pretty baby
Maybe in her sleep she is thinking "mommy, too many pictures, let me sleep!", but I can't resist.
