Thanks Uncle Sam and other news!

Over the last week or so Sophia has been sleeping in chunks of about 5 to 6 hours, this makes Steven and I really excited! She is not on a consistent sleep schedule but we are getting those chunks of time each night so we really can't complain. Let's just hope she keeps it up. In other news she has become quite the smiley little baby. The best time to catch one of her priceless smiles is right after she eats, unless she is falling asleep. She will look up at you and smile, completely satisfied. It is my favorite time of the day. Here is a picture that I will cherish forever....
I have been trying for days to get a picture when she is smiling, but usually she moves or her hands are in the way or something happens so I was thrilled when I finally captured it. It is now the background on my phone and I love to stare at it.
This morning Sophie and I went to Mommie and Me and now she weighs 10 lb. 2 ounces. She is a healthy girl, gaining weight just like she should!
On a different topic Steven found out yesterday that now, due to having the baby, we qualify for Federal Pell Grants for his college, so from now till he graduates his school will be completely paid for and we won't have to pay it back. Thanks Uncle Sam!
