Last Friday Steven and I made a specific effort to not make any plans. We had noticed that every single day off Steven had for weeks on end we had some sort of plans, and while we love going to do things and see people, we were craving a day to just be a family. So for our family day we decided to take Sophia to the beach. We have been to the beach with Sophia since she was born, but we never made it down to the actual sandy beach. We went to Lincoln City, had lunch at the 60's Cafe, then went down to the beach. Sophia seemed to love feeling the breeze and she intently gazed at the ocean.
