A.C. Gilbert Discovery Village

Yesterday we decided to take advantage of Steven's furlough day and my day off between school and summer school to do something fun. In the morning Steven went and gave his notice at his old job then we went out to lunch and took Sophia to A.C. Gilbert Discovery Village, which is a children's museum in Salem. The weather was perfect and we had a fun time seeing everything with Sophia. We took lots of pictures, here are some from our fun...

Steven and Sophia relaxing in the giant rocking chair

They have an entire room for playing with bubbles, Sophia had lots of fun in there!

This was in the baby/toddler room. There were tons of hands on type toys but Sophia was mostly interested in the vent on the wall :).

The submarine area, Sophia loved all the buttons and switches.

Sophia is 30 inches tall, she has grown 11.5 inches since birth!

Growing so tall!

Playing some music outside

Sophia playing life size chess!

Making her move!

What to do next? Hmm...

Toddling all over the amazing playground.

Thinking about conquering the stairs...

Climbing the stairs...

She held Steven's hand but climbed those stairs all by herself! This was her first time going up the stairs without being carried!

Our little ham!

In the bubble room!

In the "human body room"- inside the mouth!

From the other side of the mouth.

With daddy!

So cute!

That intriguing vent again!

Such a happy little girl!

Playing bubbles!

She loved to pop the bubbles.

Sitting in the school bus!

Getting loves from Dada!

Those were awesome pictures Emily. Oh my goodness Grandma's little Peanut is growing up so fast! It's also very fun to see how much and how fast she is learning so many new things. Quite the little ham, but oh so cute! Thanks for sharing with us.

Love you guys! <3

These are great pictures. I love to look at the picture of newborn Sophia on the right and compare it to the toddler Sophia. I miss you guys so much! Keep up the good Mom, Dad, and kid work.
