and dining room area. We removed lots of super ugly wall paper and removed the carpeted plastic slatted blinds. We painted, added wainscoting in the dining area, got new curtains and blinds, and added some art to the walls. We need to send a big thank you out to my Dad for all of his tools and help and to my Mom for helping to watch Sophia while we worked so thank you!

This has been my most favorite update to our house we have done so far. Before the kitchen wasn't our style at all, but now it feels just right. It is a calm, welcoming, comfortable space where I know we will create lots of memories in the years to come!
