13 months

So last weekend Sophia officially turned 13 months old. Wow! Here's an update, I write these for prosperity's sake more then anything...

She is now officially a walker and toddles all over the house. We have noticed that she rarely crawls anymore and is much more confident as a walker, every day she gets better and better.

She is quite a talker, she babbles constantly and cracks herself up. I can't wait to know what all her babbles mean.

She spends lots of time taking her toys out of her toy bins then putting them back in.

She sleeps about 12 hours every night and loves sleeping in late.

She often wakes up in the middle of the night, lays in her crib, laughs for a while, then falls back asleep- we really wonder what can be so funny in the middle of the night-maybe she has really excellent dreams?

Every time we go to leave the house she shrieks with excitement about the adventure that awaits her-even if we are just going to get the mail.

She loves to eat ground turkey, tortillas, cheese, and yogurt.

She love sparkling water (when we give her a drink of ours).

She hates wearing shoes or socks (just like her mama).

She still works hard to befriend the cats, they still do their best to ignore her.

She loves brushing teeth and taking baths.

She loves reading books, Biscuit the dog books are her current favorite because they have furry animals and things she can feel inside.

After anything she does (walk across the room, pick up a toy, grab a book, eat, etc.) she will pause, laugh, and clap- she has great pride in herself.

She still loves putting things on her head and making us laugh.

I could go on and on. We are blessed and we love her so much!
