Steven won a free night's stay at the Spirit Mountain Casino, so on Sunday night we dropped Sophia off at Grandma Marcy and Papa Dan's and headed to the casino. This was the longest we have ever left Sophia and it was hard. I missed her SO much, she did great and was a happy baby the whole time she was there, on the other hand, Steven and I were sad without her. But, we enjoyed our night just spending time together and relaxing. On Sunday night we played Bingo and that was lots of fun. We did not win, but we enjoyed playing the game and people watching. We decided that Bingo player's at the casino have their very own culture, there are all these hard core players that bring their own cushions for their chairs, their own Bingo dauber bags, and some people that knit when they play. It's quite entertaining and we were very possibly the youngest people there. On Monday we gambled a little bit at the slots and Steven won $400.00 on a penny machine. He was on his last 5 dollars of the 40 dollars we had taken out to play with and he hit the jackpot. It was awesome! We also got a coupon for a free buffet for both of us so we came out way ahead on the whole getaway which is just what we wanted!! After a morning of slots and a lunch at the buffet we headed back to pick up our baby girl. It was like Christmas, we were so excited to see her. Thanks Grandma and Papa, Sophia really enjoyed her stay with you and also loves your new flat screen!!
