Taste the Rockies

One of our first stops in Colorado was the Coors Brewing Factory. It is the largest single brewery in the entire world. Besides making the Coors products they also make about 20 other brews. The factory is located in Golden, Colorado which was about a half an hour drive from Denver. When you get there you park and then they take you on a shuttle through the town to tell you about the history of the area and then the shuttle drops you off at the brewery. The tour is completely free with lots of free beer as well. Here are some pics of our adventure:

When you pull into the factory this is what you see.

Just inside...

Checking out all the sights...

Some of the various brews they make.

Blue Moon! One of my personal favorites!

The brew kettle room

Sophia checking out the bubbly brew...

In the middle of the tour you get to taste beer that has not ever left the floor of the brewing area- it was pretty much the freshest, coldest beer you could ever drink.

Boxing it up- this was one of Sophia's favorite areas to observe.

The tour was a listening tour that you carry and listen to like a cell phone.

Smiley girl checking out the production!

Closely checking it out:)

My sweet family!

At the end of the tour you get a lot of free beer, since Sophia is still a few years away from the legal drinking age she instead enjoyed free lemonade in a Sophia-sized cup!

Steven and I enjoyed the brew. You get three of these glasses for free on top of the tasters you get throughout the tour.

Nothing better then beer at 10:30 in the morning (9:30 our time!!!)

I love this guy!

Outside the brewery

Water straight from the Rockies!

Sophia and Daddy running!

There is a giant M on the hill next to the town for the Miner's College that is located there.

My favorite people!

If you are ever in the Denver area I highly recommend the Coors tour. The whole thing did not cost us a penny, we learned a lot, had some delicious beer, and Sophia enjoyed herself as well- it was a morning well spent!!!
